How can I add an Authorised Representative to my account?

How do I add another user to my asccount.  Square is asking endless verification questions that get nowhere!

I noticed it's your first post, welcome to our community 👋 

 

Adding a team member requires you to enter their details in order to give them either full, or limited access to your account, depending on your business needs. This shouldn't take more than a few minutes if you use our guides. 

 

To add a Full Access Team Member, or Authorised Representative, follow the steps outlined here. You'll want to choose this option to give a team member the ability to view all account details, and call support on your behalf. They will not be able to make changes to things like bank details, or the account email address. 

 

To add a Team Member with a limited level of access to your account, follow this guide, which takes you through setting up a Permission Set to determine what the team has access to. This is ideal if you want someone to take payments on your behalf, but don't require them to have full access to other parts of the account, e.g reporting. 

 

The reason you need to enter your team's details and set parameters for Team Permissions is to make sure your account is secure, and allows you to control what your team sees.
