Hello Community,
My website:
https://acknowledged.weebly.com/
The theme of my website is BRISK 2 (weebly standard)
Description of the problem:
Everytime I consult a page, the whole menu goes down (for less tant a second) and then goes up again.
It is very disturbing and I want to avoid that.
When the theme option “Fixed navigation” is NOT activated, everything is OK. But, of course, I want my website with “Fixed navigation” activated.
My opinion is that the normal position is the "down" position (with a gap on the header).
(It is the position when the "Fixed navigation" option is not activated.).
Please note that I am not a programmer. But I guess I would be able to implement a clear solution (add an HTML embed code on pages or to change the CSS of a theme).
Your help will be much appreciated.
Regards,
Olivier
Hi there, @IKB76,
Thank you for contacting us and for explaining the issue so clearly. We understand how distracting it can be to see the menu move when a page loads. What you’re seeing is normal behavior when fixed navigation is enabled. The menu briefly appears in its regular position while the page is loading, then quickly moves to its fixed position at the top. This short movement can look like a “jump,” even though everything ends up in the correct place. Unfortunately, this behavior is built into how fixed navigation works in Weebly themes and cannot be changed or disabled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. Please let us know if you have any other questions or need further assistance!
