Getting this error

NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

I transferred my domain over from my free webstore at the beginning of February and I'm still getting this error msg. Anyone know what I can do to fix it?

@spoilednsassy.  Before trying to fix it, there are a number of issues that can cause this error.  So, some diagnostics need to be done.  Can you please post the URL of your website so I can use some tools I have to take a look?  Honestly, this error is usually local in nature and, if that is the case for you, most visitors can probably access your site but you can’t.  The fixes are pretty easy after I’ve determined this is the case for you.

FYI — Please be patient.  Today is my first day off (I’m a fellow seller, not Square) in two weeks.  I’m heading out shortly to treat myself.  I’ll check back early this evening (I’m on Eastern Time) and can get back to this then.  Thanks!

Hello @spoilednsassy

I see this is your first Community post. Welcome!

I went to the site you provided above and it is loading without issues for me, so that confirms @THEREALCHIPA's thought about it being a local issue.

I would recommend clearing your browser's cache and trying to load your site after restarting the browser.

The steps might be a little different on each browser, but for Chrome, you'll want to follow these steps:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More. Clear browsing data.
  3. Select a time range, like Last hour or All time.
  4. Select the types of information you want to remove.
  5. Click Clear data.

Let me know if this works!

Thank you

Thanks for jumping in @frances_a!  You knew right where I was going, didn’t you?  LOL. @spoilednsassy it is also working for me, on various networks and various devices.  Besides what @frances_a suggested, here is a link to one of many articles that Google found on the subject of that error message.  If the suggestion above doesn’t do the trick, one of the suggestions in that article should.  As you’ll see there are all sorts of things that can trigger this error.  Let us know if something works or if you still need assistance.
