You can currently sell digital items on the Square Online platform by creating a product of the digital kind in the dashboard, this allows for you to sell any digital asset such as how I do with digital downloads of some of my images.
Please be aware however, currently with this feature, you will need to manually deliver the digital asset by email or text depending on the information you have for the customer.
