Easy connect domain, not connecting

Hi

 

I'm new to Square and currently setting up an online website/store.  I have a purchased custom domain name but it doesn't seem to connect with the site.  Whenever I go to the Domain easy connect function (where it asks if I want to connect to my custom domain) I click the button, it spins but nothing happens.

 

I'm just trying to get the website connected to my custom domain name that was purchased on sign up.

 

Can you help?

I've asked our ECOM specialist team to take a further look into the domain on our end and see what might be causing issue with it. While I wait for an update from the team, would you mind trying the following troubleshooting steps (if you haven't already) and see if it'd help? Sometimes, our website can encounters issue connecting to your browser so these can come in handy:

  • Make sure your browser is up to date.
  • Clear the cache on your browser. Access the Help menu of your browser to locate step-by-step instructions.
  • Switch to a supported browser, such as Google Chrome.

Hey @Dan4, I just want to follow up and let you know our team have been able to look into this and push out a fix. Would you mind trying to connect the domain again and let me know if it's working?

@tranguyen although the site is saying 'Not Secure'.  I thought Square supported SSL?

Hey @Dan4, I checked the website just now and it should be secured now! For context, when you are connecting a custom domain, it can take up to 48 hours for the site to be secured.
