Hi i made spelling mistake when setting up/purchasing a custom domain name. Is there an easy way to fix the issue without having to purchase a new domain name ?

If the domain is registered, confirmed and paid for, you're stuck with what you've purchased (unless you register a new one).

I'm not sure if you are able to reverse the purchase of the domain you've bought, however as Remi has mentioned, you can register the correct domain as well provided it's not already been registered by anyone else.
