Do Discounts show up online or do I have to create a Coupon?

I don't seem to see the discounts that I've set up in the Dashboard appearing online.  Should this be showing up or do I have to use the Coupons feature?

The discounts you create in the dashboard are not applicable to your online store. They are treated as two separate systems.

So, if you have a 30% Off discount on Widget 1 via your dashboard for your in-person sales, you also need to set up the discount on the website.

On the website, you have the option to create a coupon code or enter the sale price in the particular item.

As far as I am aware,  there is not a way to create a discount for multiple items in your online store as a bulk edit (as you can on your dashboard, add several items to a particular discount).

So is it possible to have discount logic online? If a customer purchases a dozen they get 10% off?

There isn't a way to do a buy one get one deal on the website. The closest thing you can do is create a coupon code to use online.

You can create a buy one get one deal on the dashboard to use for in-person sales but that deal will not transfer to the online store.

SquareUp has had this as a feature request for a very long time. If you search for BOGO you may be able to find the conversations about this topic.

I see, so they have recognized the need for this functionality, they've developed it for the in-person dashboard, but they haven't ported it to the Weebly online platform yet.  Got it.  Thanks.  That's unfortunate.

So this relates to my other question then - if you cannot give volume discounts via the online store, I will have to create unique SKUs for "A Dozen Donuts" so customers can see the cheaper price for volume.  However, there is no way to allow them to pick which dozen donuts they want via the online store is there? Is there a way to have them choose the "Dozen Donuts" item and then pick how many glazed or chocolate or custard donuts they want in that dozen?
