Deleted item still shows up on web store

Many have asked this but there were no solution posted. I deleted an item from the Square Store but it still appears on the store. Yes, I have tried the following:

1) Refresh the cache/history of browser.
2) Waited for over a week.

3) Tried to find it in the "Archive"

 

None of them work.

@chiu Welcome to the community.

When you delete an item from the Square Dashboard, it sometimes stays cached in:
• Category pages
• Featured item sections
• Product lists or custom layouts
• Or because of a delayed sync between Square and your Square Online store.
 
Here is a  couple things to try:
How to Fully Remove the Item from Your Online Store
 
Check Your Website Editor
• Go to Square Online > Edit Site
• Check these sections:
🔸 Featured Items
🔸 Category Blocks
🔸 Product List/Grid Sections
• Manually remove the deleted item from each section
 
Even though the item is deleted, it can still appear if it was visually placed in a section before.
 
Check Categories
• Go to Items > Categories
• Look for any categories that may still list the deleted item by ID
• Remove it manually from the category’s item list (yes, even if it’s gone)
 
Hopefully one of these will fix your problem.

Thank you so much. It seems like there is definitely a bug in the system. I only see the deleted item from the "Feature items" category, and I need to delete it AGAIN from the Feature Items list to get rid of it for good, just like you have taught me. Appreciate it!!!

Hi, I'm having this same issue (deleted an item, but it is still appearing on my site, after several hours and after edits to other items have gone live after an amount of lag time.

From your suggested solution above, I go to dashboard, then "site editor". From there, in the dropdown on the top left, I can select individual item pages. I do see item pages for the deleted items. However, there is no area to "manually delete" the pages themselves, only to edit the design of those pages.

There are several areas to get to "items", perhaps I am on the incorrect one? Can you provide more detailed instructions for where to get to the areas where I can manually delete these ghost items? Thanks so much!
