Delete online store and restart from begining

My former biz partner started to set up our online store a few years ago and never published it.  I want to scrap what he started and being from the beginning.  I tried resetting to default and it still opens on step three of seven.

Is it possible to start over?

Hi @ChopPDX !

Just to be clear, you went to "Website", "Site Preferences", and then scrolled down to "Reset to Default"?

If so, my suggestion would be to add another website. If you have a custom domain, you can assign it to the new website. . If you're duplicating an existing site to start over, you can disconnect your custom domain from your existing site so you can assign it to your new one.

To create another website:

  1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and go to Sales channels > Online.

  2. Select the drop-down menu that lists your current site name.

  3. Select Add site.

  4. Enter any applicable business and fulfillment information.

Once you create another site and assign the custom domain to the new site (if you have a custom domain), you can delete the previous site so there is no more confusion either.

I hope this helps! Please tag me if there are any further issues.
