Creating a rule for a coupon

I am trying to create a coupon for a bundled purchase.  You have to buy all three items to get the discount.  I created a discount for it, but saw in another thread that customers can't apply the code anywhere.  Now I'm trying to create the coupon code but the rule creation seems limited and is discounting every item individually.  Am I missing something?

I think your best bet is to maybe lower the discount (ie: if it's 30% make it 10% off each item) to equal 30% off the package. I too am struggling with coupons. I'm so used to having much more coupon options and being able to build "packages" or "combos". You'd think it'd be available or easy to set up by now.

Have you looked into creating a bundle for these items? It is a new feature that many sellers had asked for. 

You can also set bundles for a discounted price instead of having to create a coupon to apply.
