Coupon wont work with popup

Has anyone else had issues getting their Pop-up coupons to work since we've migrated coupons to marketing from online?

I've created the specific email subscription coupon for the website popup in "marketing", but when I try to select it from the drop-down menu in the popup creation area, it doesn't appear. My other online coupons are available, but not the one I need. I read it may be because of the same name as a previous coupon, so I changed it multiple times, and still have no luck.

 

Am I missing a step?

 

Any Advice would be appreciated

Quick Fixes to Try
  1. Create a completely new coupon with:

    • Different name
    • Different code
    • Basic discount structure
  2. If using existing coupon:

    • Duplicate it
    • Give it a unique name
    • Use a new coupon code
Questions to Help Troubleshoot

Could you confirm:

  1. What type of discount is the coupon offering?
  2. Is it visible in other areas of your Square Dashboard?
  3. How long after creating the coupon did you try to add it to the pop-up?

@theocia1214 I would try this.  I would create a new coupon and code and save it.  I would also try going into the link on your screenshot where it says: "Explore the pop-up editor" and create your promo from there.  A couple key things to make sure the date for available on your coupon is correct (looks like it was).  I would also create the coupon and refresh your browser before trying to do the pop-up (yea silly but I have seen stranger).  But definitely changing the name will not hurt (again...stranger things square style).

Thanks. Unfortunately, I have done all of these things, and still no luck. Created 3 new ones with completely different names and offers last week, tried both routes of creating the popup and the same 2 old coupons are all that are available to me. Looks like a support call is in my future 😭

Thanks. Unfortunately, I have done all of these things, and still no luck. Created 3 new ones with completely different names and offers last week, tried both routes of creating the popup (by direct and through browse popup maker)and the same 2 old coupons are all that are available to me.

 

Could you confirm:

  1. What type of discount is the coupon offering?- I would like a subscription discount on my website popup, just on of the standard options. 
  2. Is it visible in other areas of your Square Dashboard? They are visible in the coupon section and show they are created and active, ( I deactivated the older ones) screenshot below
  3. How long after creating the coupon did you try to add it to the pop-up? I waited 6 days this last time.

Looks like a support call is in my future
