I'm trying to charge a corporate card, but it simply declines. Yet, the customer has used this corporate card many times with success. What can I do?
I would love to get customer phone support, but I'm directed from the phone to a chat box which then directs me to an email which never happens. The Square customer service is horrible! I had no idea.
Tell the customer to call their CC issuing bank. I have had this happen to my corporate card. Reasons from my bank who was Declining it was, we saw an unusal charge and locked your account to the previous charges are verified by you. Another reason was the bank sent a new card and I did not enable it yet, even tho the old card was stil good.
Banks are trying to stop fraudulent CC charges and us as business owners sometimes get caught in the middle as we only see Declined with no reason or Who declined it. Would be nice to see Bank XYZ declined CC or Square Declined because of Security or Possible Fraud.
