On December 31st we are going to be open a half day. I am not sure how to turn off the online store in Square for a half day. I will personally be on a flight at the time when the store needs to close, so I can't log into the dashboard to adjust the time.
Is there a way for me to either set it up before hand to say that on December 31st I want my online store for pick up and delivery to close at 5pm?
Or, is there a way for me have the team on site turn the online store off from the POS? If not, please tell me how I'm supposed to close my online store on December 31st at 5pm if I'm on a flight and no one else has access to these settings?
@manousheh403 I had the same issue, I am heading out on vacation and am closing early on Thursday. I went into the dashboard ----> online (dashboard) -----Settings ----->fullfilment ---->edit the location ---->order timing -----> pickup hours.
I changed my hours on Thursday to be 1pm instead of the normal 2:00pm for me. You can also exclude days in the future when you do not want to accept orders (like december 25th if you were usually open). I just write myself a note to edit it back to normal on Tuesday when I come back.
If you want to go the extra mile, go to communications, and make an announcement pop up to tell people what time you will no longer be accepting orders.
