Checkout links - impact to SEO if I remove the link from the product

Hi Square Community, I have noticed that we accidentally left the toggle on for individual product URL's.  We don't want them but from what I can see we have 100's.

I want to delete them, but note each page has an SEO link and was turned on for indexing.

Does anyone know what impact it will have on my SEO if I delete these individual product pages?

Hi @OrganicLarder,

To be honest, I'm not sure how this would impact your SEO, and much of this depends on the non-public Google wizardry and algorithms that go on behind the scenes.

You can read more about using Square Online to optimise SEO here though. As long as you're optimising for the entire website, I don't think removing single pages would have a significant impact. Google reindexes search results fairly frequently too. My assumption is that if you maximised your SEO for the website as much as possible, things should maintain roughly the same balance in the long term.

Though, I am certainly not an SEO expert! There's an entire industry based around SEO so if you wanted the best possible advice I'd recommend speaking with an expert.
