Apologies for the wait on this, @RhythmMove.

To set up a Buy One, Get One deal of sorts (or in your case a Buy Four, Get One), please feel free to follow these steps below:

  1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and go to Items & services (or Items & menus or Items & inventory) > Items > Discounts.
  2. Click Create a Discount or select a discount to modify.
  3. Enter the discount details — including the discount name, amount type (Amount, Percentage, Variable amount or Variable percentage), and applicable locations.
  4. Toggle on/off Discount rules within the Automatic discount section.
  5. Click Quantity > Done.
  6. Add the required quantity and select the items or categories you want to include.
  7. Click Add discount rule and select one of the three options (Exact quantity, Minimum quantity or Buy one, get one) > click Done.
  8. Click Save.

When a customer buys a specified quantity of an item or category, a discount will apply towards additions of the same item or towards different item(s) added to the cart. If you’d like to set up a buy one, get one free discount, just make sure to set the discount percentage to 100%. Here is a helpful article on discounts, as well.

Hi @RhythmMove, thank you for your post! Welcome to the Square Community.

A few questions for you:

  • To make sure I am looking at the right section, are you referring to a class that is on Square Appointments, or just on your site?
  • Do you have a link to that section, by chance?
  • As well as, you are just looking to have the class available for one day a week, correct?

Any additional details would be helpful.

Feel free to reply and tag me, and I will take another look for you!

It is great to hear you got this figured out, @RhythmMove!

I can definitely check in on your site. Would you be able to share a link to your site, and the specific item you are wanting me to review?

@RhythmMove, for security purposes, I unfortunately I would not be able to make these changes on your Dashboard for you. I can definitely send over directions on how to make changes though.

I have a few more questions on this:

  1. What item are you looking to remove tax from?
  2. Are you looking to create some kind of ticket bundle?
  3. Are these classes through Square Appointments? Or are they an item listed on your site?

Consider checking TicketsCandy - we're fully integrated with Square and make it easy to adjust class days, times, and recurring schedules. You can also create ticket bundles like buy X classes, get one free )
