Category not showing even is changed to visible, not able to add on feature category section.

Hi there, 

 

Wonder if anyone can help me with this. the category is not showing on my website even I have changed to visible. I tried to add to my feature category on my front page of the website, but I cannot choose this category at all (not showing). How do I fix it? Or can square online fix it for me? Thanks

The most common reason Categories don’t appear correctly on Square Online sites is due to formatting issues with the address of the physical location linked to your site.

Let’s start by double-checking and correcting the address formatting. Here’s how:

1. In your Square Dashboard, go to Settings > Account & Settings > My Business > Locations.

2. Select your location from the list and click Edit Location.

3. Make sure the location type is set to Physical.

4. Copy the address currently listed and paste it into a Google search. This will show you the correct address format.

5. Copy the properly formatted version and update it in your Square Location details, then click Save.

6. Confirm that the Category in question is marked as available at this location.

7. Go back to your Edit Site page and re-add the Category under the Featured Categories section.
