Hello! I used Square for Retail Plus for an independent record store that I am starting. I spent the better part of the month adding all my categories and items into inventory for my new store and am finally ready to start working on the Online/website. However, when I looked at my categories, some are 'Hidden From All Sites' (Parent category CLOTHES, which has no items in it) and its two sub-categories, "SHIRTS" and "HATS." Every other category in my item library seems to behavior normally and is not hidden.
Is there a way to fix this? Without losing all of the items I have added to these categories or causing any sort of extra work? I want to keep my inventory between the retail and online unified for future ease of use. Thank you so much for your help!
I fixed my own issue. I'm not sure HOW it got like this, but the fix was this:
Create a new CLOTHES category (i.e. Clothes 2). Move the HATS and SHIRTS sub-categories from the original Clothes under the new one. Uncheck "hide" toggles and delete the old Clothes category. Rename Clothes 2 back to Clothes. DONE. No longer hidden!
