Cannot access my custom domains from Weebly, want to move services

I had the free Weebly account and website builder for my two domains (one hosted by Weebly, one hosted by another provider).  Now that Weebly has moved to Square I cannot access my websites without it trying to make me pay for an online store, and I can't transfer my domains to my original hosting provider.  Please help.  Thanks!

Hi @phxdelta!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble logging in and accessing your account details.

Since Weebly has transitioned to Square, you’ll now need to log in through your Square Dashboard here. Once logged in, select Online from the left-hand menu to access your Site Editor and domain settings.

From there, you can follow the steps to transfer your domain out of Square if needed.

If you’re interested in Square Online plans or specific features, you can explore our current options here.

Let me know if you need any further help with the above, and I'd be happy to take a closer look with you. 🙂

Hi Laurie,

Thanks and yes, I need further assistance.  After I logged into Square and tried to "Set up your domain" and link it to my custom domain, KRRaye.com, this is the error message I received, "This domain is already connected to another Square Online site. Remove it from that site in order to proceed."  How do I access that domain to transfer it out of Square?

Thanks for any assistance in getting this resolved.

Hi @phxdelta,

Thanks for the details, I understand how frustrating this must be.

The error message indicates that KRRaye.com is currently connected to another Square Online site under a different Square account. To transfer your domain out of Square, you’ll need to access that specific account and remove the domain from the site settings first.

Could you confirm if you’re logging in with the same credentials you originally used with your Weebly site before the transition?

Sometimes multiple Square accounts are created unintentionally, which can make domain management tricky.

If you’re not sure or have lost access, I recommend reaching out to our Square Support Team directly. They can help verify your ownership of the domain and assist in transferring it out.

What if KRRaye.com is still linked to an old square account you used before?
