Can you export select items from the Item Library?

How can I export selected items on my online store to give to one of our wholesalers who also has a square online store.?

Hi @VarietySpice! 

If you’re looking to export specific items from your Item Library to share with a wholesaler, you can use the import/export feature and edit the file to include only the required items. Unfortunately, we don't yet support selective item library exports.

You can follow the steps in this guide, which includes a section for transferring between Square accounts.

Once exported, you may need to further adjust the file, for example, to reflect wholesale pricing, especially if the wholesaler plans to import the items directly into their own Square account.

Hi Laurie, I am wanting to export the images mainly - is this possilbe?

Good question, @VarietySpice!

As of now, Square does not offer a built-in feature to export item images directly when exporting your item library. If you export your items following the steps above, the CSV file will include details like: item name, description, SKU, price, category, modifier sets, etc. 

While you'll need to manually download the item images, you could include them as image links in the corresponding rows of the CSV to share with your wholesaler.
