Can Square automatically mark online items as unavailable when inventory reaches zero

Can Square automatically mark online items as unavailable when inventory reaches zero? I have been doing a custom search everyday where inventory is less than one and marked as available and then bulk editing to mark as unavailable. Seems like this should be default behavior

Hey @StuartC. This capability already exists in Square Online.  However, it does not exist at the item level, per se, but rather at the site level.  Here’s how it works.

 

From your online dashboard, go to Online > Shared Settings > Item Preferences.  Here you will see all kinds of settings for how items are displayed (or not) in our stores.  At the top, in the Item Statuses section, you’ll see a toggle for “Out of stock indicator.”  Toggle this on and the item will still be displayed but it will indicate that it is out of stock.

 

A little further down in the “Stock settings” section, you’ll see the toggle “Display out of stock items on site.”  Turning this on will cause the online store to NOT display items with no current stock.

 

There is also a toggle to indicate to site visitors items that are low on stock, if you desire.

 

I think this will do what you want but, if not, let me know.
