Can I set up club signup on my website without requiring initial payment?

I have a club where I collect a customer's information (name, address, cc info, etc.) when they signup, but I do not charge them until their products are shipped. So, there is no signup fee to join the club.

Is there anyway to setup a club signup on my website where I collect cc info, but there is no initial charge? This is not a loyalty program to be clear.

At the time there's not really a membership option for the Square Store.

The only thing I could maybe think of doing would be to create a coupon code for an 100% discount you can give to people signing up and create an item for membership sign-up. And then only apply the coupon to that specific item so they can't use it on other items that actually do have a cost.
