Can I enter multiple items at discounted prices?

I have 15 books on my web site at various prices and I want to offer a discount based on the quantities purchased, i.e. 2 books for $45, 3 books for $60, etc.

How can I set up the site to accomplish this?

Hi @Booville13.  I think this will work for you.  From your online dashboard go to Items & Orders > Items > Discounts, then create a discount.  Give the first discount (2 for…) a name and specify the discount amount.

I’m assuming you want the POS to automatically apply this discount.  So turn on Discount rules in the Automatic discount section.  Select Quantity.  Enter quantity 2, select the items/categories that will receive the discount.  Then click Add discount rule.  Most likely you’ll want “exact quantity” here.  Lastly, decide if you want this discount to automatically apply only to your online store, or at your POS also.  Save it.

You’ll repeat the process for each discount level (3 for…, 4 for…).  Note that the greater discount will always be applied if multiple automatic discounts are applicable.

Anyway, set these up and then test them yourself to be sure that the discounts are being applied as expected.

If you run into any issues, don’t hesitate to come back here and make another post in this thread.  I’ll be notified when you do.
