Can I charge the same debit card card more than once to avoid the $100 limit?

HELP... we are running an event and having issues with our system... we have been having clients purchase their items seperately because of the $100 tap issue and now for some reason it is not accepting their cards for the second purchases... it has been previously but now it won't???? Any suggestions on how to get around the $100 tap debit/credit issue

Thank you

Re: Charging same card more than once

@lisahupe I'm sorry for the trouble this caused at your event. The $100 per transaction limit is a security measure put in place to protect a customer's card if it is lost or stolen. It's not possible to avoid this limit. If you need to charge your customer more than $100 you could ask them to provide a credit card or to pay in cash.
