Best practise for online discount for customer group?

Hi,

I'm looking for the best way to provide a group of customers with a fixed discount, say 5%.

I'd also like them to be able to use this on our POS.

However, I don't want them to be able to stack this discount with a gift card they are being issued with too. Any ideas on best practise or any way to do this.

To give customers a discount when they are purchasing online, you can create a coupon code and give this to them. This way, they'll be able to avail of the discount anytime they made a purchase. However, one thing to note that it isn't possible to prevent them from using this discount in addition to their gift card.

To give customers a discount on the Square Point of Sale app, the Customer Group Discounts would probably be the best feature to use here. On the Point of Sale app, if customers are using a gift card to complete their purchase, you can manually remove the discount as well.
