My customers and I have discovered a bug in Apple pay: payments have not been able to be processed via apple pay. I don't know if this is limited to my website. Square engineering is working on it currently but I'm posting about it here, as I've not been notified by Square that it is an issue, According to the customer who brought it to my attention Apple Pay been dysfunctional for 3 weeks. She thought it was her own settings but it is not. November and December are by far my highest grossing months and it is very upsetting to learn that the checkout process is not working.
As a consumer, when I go to a website and the checkout process does not work properly I lose trust in that business and am less likely to complete the process at all, even with a different payment method.

On our end, if this was a widespread issue that was affecting multiple sellers, we would let you know as soon as we get notification from our engineering team. The last report regarding Apple Pay and Google Pay was on November, 27th and it was promptly addressed on https://www.issquareup.com/.

Two times in a row now chat support reports to me that the engineering team has resolved the issue. But they have not. We've tested on multiple platforms and Apple Pay is definitely NOT working. Shop-owners should TEST to see if Apple Pay is working for all websites. I'm very disappointed and frustrated that this issue has not been resolved.
Adding to my frustration, Square does not send updates, so to learn whether the issue has been resolved I'm left with interrupting my workday during our busiest weeks of the year logging in to chat to request a status update.
I just tested on my iMac and my iPhone and both worked checking out with ApplePay on my Square website.
Still not working. Going on several weeks of not being able to accept apple pay.
Hello @echoc I am jumping for @sayra while she is out. I understand this is extremely frustrating, and we certainly want to make sure this being addressed, so you process payments during this holiday season.
We have not had any recent reports of issues with Apple Pay, and it does look @VanKalkerFarms was able to process as well. This might be account specific. In order investigate this further we will need to gather more information. Is there any error message that occurs when they try? If so can you provide a screenshot of that. Have you tested this? Are you experiencing the same issue?
