Automatic Discounts Online

I'm looking for a way to automatically discount items when a purchaser order more than one of the same category of items. I can do this in Square Retail but can't seem to do the same for Online. Why is this?

For example, If i have a customer buy 3 greeting cards from me at a market, an automatic discount is applied. But I don't have the same option to do this Online for some reason.

Additionally, is appears you can't set a discount online if someone buys more than X number from a category like you can in retail.

This is very frustrating and seems like Online should at the very least have the same functionality as Retail does.

Note: When I say Square Retail, I mean the app you use with your square reader. I wasn't sure if this was the correct terminology.

Hey there @NutmegCreative,

Thanks for reaching out to add your vote for this feature request. Item bundles and group discounts are popular feature requests we're already tracking feedback for, as well as available workarounds, via the Seller Community in this thread.

However, the ability to create an automatic discount online is currently undergoing a testing phase as part of Square's Beta Program. You can volunteer to become a Beta Seller and test new features ahead of them being released. Not only does this allow you to access certain features ahead of their release date, but your feedback goes a long way in helping our Product Team refine these features for our Square Sellers.

Let me know if you have any issues joining Square Beta with the above link and I'll be happy to assist you.

Alternatively, you can always reach out to our Support Team at 1800 760 137 (Mon - Fri, 9 am - 5 pm Melbourne time), or contact us via online chat or email. See the below steps.

1. Sign in to your Square account

2. Head to our contact page https://squ.re/3AWfZs2

3. Go to "Other", then "I don't see my issue"

4. Click "Message us", "Email us" or "Call Us"

Or, if you see the new chatbot help flow, type “support” to bring up a list of contact methods.

P.S. I notice it's your first time posting to the Seller Community - welcome, we're happy to have you join us! 🤗
