Appointments Auto-Canceling, Etc.

For the last couple of days, people will try to make an appointment online and they will get an immediate notification that their appointment was cancelled. It even shows they have a cancelled appointment in their past appointments list. Additionally, we have had multiple clients state that they hit “book now” and nothing happens. There have even been people who thought they made an appointment that went through but called us to make sure because they didn’t receive the typical, immediate confirmation from us. 

I have called Square, and they escalated it to engineering. I am waiting on a response, but I wondered if anyone else was experiencing issues. I’ve had to turn off online booking in fear we would have a bunch of clients showing up for appointments that do not exist in our system.

I am sorry to hear you're having issues with your appointments auto-canceling on your customers. Are you still experiencing this when your customers try to book their appointments? Also, does any auto-canceling happen if an appointment is made by you? 

You made a great move reaching out to our CS team and working with our engineers, that was going to be my first suggestion. They will be able to keep in touch with you directly while our engineers dig deeper on our end.
