Anyone else getting this error message "This site cannot be reached"

Hi All,

 

My customers and I are consistently receiving the same error message:

 

This site cannot be reached

terrariumstudio.com.au’s server IP address could not be found.

 

  • Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
 
This has been an ongoing issue for just over 2 weeks now and no fixes have been implemented by square/weebly. I am loosing business from this error 😞
 
The answer I'm getting is that "web browser versions that are out of date can cause the error messages that are displaying it should not solely be an issue widespread". 
 
My google chrome, safari, internet explore are all up to date as to are most of my clients. Surely this cannot be the issue? Does anyone has ideas of what the issue could be?

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you're having trouble with your website.

 

I tried accessing your website just now on the latest version of chrome and didn't have any issues. I can see how this would be very frustrating! While I don't have any experience with this issue myself, I was able to locate some troubleshooting resources online that document possible causes and solutions.

this happened to me last week - weebly said it was my ISP or the ISP being used - in my case Aussie Broadband.  It did resolve but I've since had complaints that payment screen is timing out for people trying to purchase on my site so it's one thing after another....

Hey @primalemma,

 

I have since heard of an IP routing issue with Aussie Broadband that was since resolved.

 

Are you able to replicate time outs at all on your end? Is there any commons factor customer's are reporting for time outs - eg were they all happening at a certain time or reported on the same day? How many reports of this did you receive? Did the customers report what web browsers they were using - we recommend up to date version of Chrome and iOS.

 

Generally a time out it due to poor internet connectivity, but if there's something else at play there we'd want to get to the bottom of it!

Apparently there is an issue with register.com and where my website is not loading on all DNS servers globally. 

 

Could I change my domain host? Will this help?

I too am getting this error. I've had multiple customers saying the website has an error code. I noticed it is happening at least 3 times a day.

 

I've lost a lot of business due to the link not being reachable.
