Am I missing something about syncing your SquareSpace website to your square POS??

I created a paid domain for my business and didn’t realize that that needs to be synced with my POS which I use on my phone. For some reason in all of this, trying to get it to sync, my paid domain is now linking to the free website on the POS and refuses to link back to the paid one that I have. And I can’t get my dashboard to connect with my website and I have no idea what to do and Square support is not very helpful and I have money sitting on my website that I need in the POS. 
Just trying to get my propagation to happen and everything gets messed up.

I was doing some research and was able to find a Squarespace support article that goes over connecting your Squarespace to a payment processor, such as Square. I am not familiar with Squarespace products as Square is a separate entity, but I can do my best to help out.

Is your website domain through Square or Squarespace? If it is through Square, would you be able to provide a link to your site, please?
