Adding Featured Items to Website

Ok 'm lost.  I was trying to add new items to my featured items but there seems to be a disconnect between Weebly and Square.  I try to add something and when I'm on square side, I select an item then don't have the option to set it as a featured item.  

Am I doing something wrong, or was something changed?  I haven't had time to poke around and keep up with all of the changes but was hoping to add items here and there as I get time.

Hi Amy! You’re not alone, there have definitely been some changes between Weebly/Square Online and the Square Dashboard that can make this confusing.

From my understanding, the “featured” placement is now handled more through the Square Online website editor rather than by marking an item as featured from the item itself in your Square Dashboard. Try opening your Square Online site editor, navigating to the section where you want the featured items displayed, and then editing that section to select which items or categories you want shown.

So if you’re looking for the old “set as featured” option on the individual item and not seeing it, you’re probably not missing anything! 😊

Square has moved quite a few things around, so I completely understand the “I haven’t had time to keep up with all the changes” part. 😂 Hopefully that gets you pointed in the right direction! 💙

I don't see it but I'll have to revisit this when I have more functioning brain cells than I do now.  What's really weird is that this item is available on the back end but it's no where to be seen on the front end of my website.

So... I spent way too much time, used troubleshooting only to find that square changed the default channel to POS.  That's why the item wasn't showing up online or in featured on weebly.  Once I changed that I was able to add it to my homepage
