My employees are split between two primary roles:
To accomplish this separation, the Service providers store customer notes in a 3rd party contacts app.
The complication comes in linking the Square customer profile to the 3rd party contacts app (since we have multiple people with the same first and last name). One method we've found is to add a 4 digit identifier to each customer's last name in the customer profile in each app, and search that number in either app as needed. However, the 3rd party contacts app has the ability to produce a URL to open any individual contact from another app.

While we do not have this feature available now, I can request one workaround. Could you add the URL to the notes? It wouldn't be clickable but it would at least give your employees the chance to highlight and paste the URL:


The only other workaround that comes to mind would be to export their customer profile to PDF or JPG from your 3rd party app, and upload it to our system. Would either of those work?
Regardless, this is a great feature request and I think it would be really helpful if you could hyperlink information within the Notes section of the profiles.

Thanks for your reply, but the suggestions that you've made provide no benefit to our team whatsoever. The point is to make the process quicker and easier. Your suggestion slows them down; my existing workaround is faster than what you've suggested.

Then what you're looking for would be a feature request that we don't currently have available. I'll make sure to provide updates in this thread if I hear anything about a feature such as this one coming available.
