Accepting orders for the next day while the cafe is closed

Hi There,

I'm trying to set up the online store so that it can accept orders for the next day while the cafe is closed. But somehow it won't take orders for the next day the red notice is visible saying "Our store is not currently accepting orders."

This is because of our store hours being 8-3 pm and I'm trying to find a way to take orders outside these hours.

It's important to note that the business location hours in Accounts & Settings don't impact the Fulfillment settings in Square Online. If you're wanting to update your Fulfillment settings for a specific Pickup window, follow the steps below.


1. Navigate to the Online Overview page in your Dashboard.
2. Select Fulfillment on the left > Pickup & Delivery.
3. Click Edit on your location to access your settings.
4. Under Timing and Fulfillment Hours you can make changes to allow customers to collect their orders at a specific time, whilst being able to order outside of official business hours.

I recommend updating your Fulfillment hours here to suit your preferences. When making changes to your Timing settings, I recommend making use of the Fulfillment Calculator on the right-hand side of the page. This tool will allow you to simulate what pickup window a customer would receive when placing an order at a specific time.
