Abandoned cart reports

Does Square still offer Abandoned Cart reporting?

My online store Dashboard has a link to Abandoned Cart reports, but when I select it, it only shows marketing email campaigns with no option for reports.

This is really frustrating because I have only just migrated from another service which did provide Abandoned Cart reports and that was useful for understanding customer behaviours. I'm hoping I won't need to move to another website host!

Hello @David_S and thanks for reaching out to the Square Community with your question. My name is Violet and I'm one of the Moderators here. I'm happy to provide some more details on Abandoned Cart Reports.

Unfortunately, Abandoned Cart Reporting is no longer available on Square Online. Reporting for this specific action was part of a platform convergence initiative, which occurred in September 2024. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news on this 😞 but I hope this sets the record straight.

That's disappointing. I can only assume that the decision to scrap Abandoned Cart reporting was made without consultation with your paying customers? Abandoned Cart reporting is a very useful tool for any online business.
