Square for Regular Ticket Sales

I'm curious if there is anyone here who uses their square store for regular ticket sales? I've run a small comedy theater for 10 years and we've always used Eventbrite for tickets and Square for classes (since they are much smaller in volume and regularity).

I'm curious if anyone has ever used Eventbrite for multiple weekly events with a limited capacity. If so, any suggestions of how to organize your store?

I have made tickets for a movie theater in Square. It is clunky at best. I am interested in this as well.

I think Square is a great platform for this. You can manage all tickets and food under one POS. You can even add more apps to your account like Square Online or Square subscriptions.

Yes!! After running several ticketed events via Eventbrite and seeing the amount of fees that they collect, we decided that that there had to be a better way. So, I created a category on our online menu for events. We typically have one or two things on the event menu and then just take them down once the event has passed. Recently we had a painting party and our NYE event. Its super easy to share the payment link and you are saving your guests a few dollars as well as a few for yourself. We still list on Eventbrite as they do a nice job marketing events in your area but are seeing fewer and fewer people using their platform.
