Hello!
I just received my Zebra ZD411 printer about a month ago and it has been wonderful/so easy. However, today it started printing labels unaligned. Everything I've tried to print today was offset. I tried re-calibrating, making sure the media sensor was in the correct position, cleaning the media sensor...nothing has worked.
It is odd though because when I select "test print," there were times it worked perfectly, but if I chose to print 10 of one label, it would be unaligned. Is there something I need to do on my POS side? I'm just a little at a loss.
I wasted so many labels trying to figure out what the issue is, so I would love any insight possible!
Like I said, I've only had it about a month, so pretty bummed it's giving me issues. Thank you so much!!
I understand how frustrating it can be when something doesn’t work as expected, especially after just purchasing it. I’m happy to help.
Here are a few steps to try:
Use the system dialog instead of the browser dialog.
Make sure you’ve selected the correct label size. For example, if you’re using 1/2” x 1-1/2” labels, select that option before printing.
Check that the scale is set to 100% and that any “Fit to print” setting is disabled.
Try resetting the printer orientation to Landscape (it often defaults to Portrait).
Adjust the print resolution to 300 x 600 DPI if your barcode scanner is having trouble reading the labels.
Confirm the printer drivers are installed.
Ensure you’re using Square for Retail Plus.
