I just purchased a used Square Terminal and it won't let me sign in. The message reads: "Update required. To access your account, please upgrade your device. You can do this via your settings." Does this mean that I can't use the hardware I just bought?
Hi there @StBOratory.. See screen shot below where I asked Square AI if the V1 Terminal was obsolete. Given what you see below, it seems odd that you can't at least sign in because you need to sign in to update to the last version that V1 terminal's support. Could you make a video and/or screen shots of what you are seeing? There might be something we are missing that would at least get you up and running. But remember that even if I can help you, this device will be stuck with the features it has now and will not get any new Square features or bug fixes.
