There is not. And yay for ten years. I shoot for seven so that I can fully depreciate equipment. But my average is 9-10 years these days, even with expensive ice cream equipment that is built to quit after 7-8 years. That’s as good as it gets, my friend.
As you probably know, we all want our card processor to have the latest and best security. That comes with this risk and tradeoff. Stick with the latest Apple hardware and you will never regret it. I speak from over a decade with Square. They do their best to help us squeeze the most out of our Apple hardware investment.
