Terminal help

We have a terminal that has been having issues recently and now it will not start at all. It just sits on the logo screen. It was working fine last night at the EOD. We are basically down and not able to take payments. What are our options? I want to attach a video, but I am not able to via your sw

I found a thread with a couple other users that have had this problem. I will attach the link to that thread at the bottom of this for you to check out. 

It looks like you can press and hold the power button for 40 seconds and this will pop up a screen that says RESTART/ POWER OFF. You want to continue to hold the button even after you see this option and a black screen should appear with a countdown initiating a factory reset.

I would say it would be wise to have the terminal plugged into power during this. Once the terminal is reset you will just have to log back in and all should be well! 

You might want to go check in settings for any updates that may need to be done. 

We have a terminal that we use for our pop ups and we always turn it on the day before and manually make sure its updated so that it doesn't update randomly when we turn it on for the event.
