Stock Conversion Incorrect Units on Square Register

We use Square Point of Sale on Square Register. We are a beer / wine bar that uses the pre-authorization feature for tabs, so we are limited to the general Point of Sale app. To get the stock conversion feature for our wine sales, we pay the $89 / month for Retail Plus (very frustrating, as we only need that 1 feature).  The default stocking unit is “bottle”.  On the Square Point of Sale app for iOS and the dashboard, it shows the correct number of bottles. For example, if we have 2 bottles, that is converted to 8 items (glasses). On iOS and dashboard, it will say we have 2 bottles. On the Square Register, it will say we have 8 bottles of wine, not 2 bottles, or 8 items (glasses).  Why is the register reporting this incorrectly?

Thank you for the reply.  I have email Square support with the issue last week, but they have never written back.  I will try to call them again when I get back into work with the register.
