The chip reader in my square register (1st gen, v2) stopped working
(we've tried all the troubleshooting guides for fixing it and no luck) is there any other standalone hardware that can accept chip payments and is compatible, the ones I'm seeing say they are only compatible with the android or apple mobile device platforms. It's extremely frustrating because nothing else is wrong with the register and chip payments are only needed by maybe 10% of our customers but it's enough to require a workaround.
