Square Terminal Sales Report Printout Issue

Hi everyone,

When I print out a sales report, bold text in the report pushes the very last digit down onto the next line.

I'm using a Square Terminal, the handheld debit/credit machine, and hadn't had this issue until... yesterday.

I have run through the basic troubleshooting steps already with a chat agent. Reboot, reset, jiggle the handle, etc. Did something change in the last update? Is this tiny thing going to haunt me for the rest of my life?

Hey @fenelonlocks, thank you for flagging this! This is definitely odd behavior coming from the Square Terminal. I can see why it would haunt you, I'd feel the exact same way!

Since you've already tried the usual troubleshooting steps to try and resolve this issue, I'm going to go ahead and escalate this to our teams internally to see if this is a known issue. Once I get more information from them, I'll update you on this thread.

Hi Skyler,

We spoke to... Andrew, I think? on the phone yesterday and after he spent time running some printouts on his end and testing a couple different dates/ranges on ours, we think it might have been a glitch on that specific day.

It's in a holding pattern right now as we see if this happens again. We just haven't had a similar sort of sales day since.

I'm not sure what to tell you right now except that this is really weird. Probably nothing else that can be done except to sit and wait and see if it happens again.
