Separate Square Amounts Received

Hi, we are using 2 Square Terminals for 2 different takings. Eg. 1 for Bar and 1 for Gate.  Is there a way to see which terminal received payments? We are trying to work out how much the Bar took and how much the Gate took.

Thanks for writing in with this question!

 

To name your Square Terminal:

1. From the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen, tap More.

2. Tap Settings > Hardware > General.

3. Enter a device name. 

 

You can then filter your reports by device to see which terminal took which sales. Here's how:

 

1. Go to Sales Summary in your online Square Dashboard > click Advanced Options > filter by Device.

2. Tick the box next to the device(s) you’d like to view.

3. Click Export.

Once you filter the report by device, you'll be able to see each Terminal's payments going forward, @PCCutters 🙂
