Hi, I just installed the square register onto our counter with the mounting plate. I was just wondering if there was a way to lock in in place so that it can’t be just twisted back off by rotating it 90 degrees? Thanks.

Hi there, @Mattduff,
That is a great question! The Square Register mounting plate is designed to allow the device to rotate, but it doesn’t include a built-in locking mechanism to prevent it from being turned or removed with a 90-degree twist. However, many sellers secure the plate by using additional hardware such as adhesive anchors, security screws, or third-party locking mounts to keep the Register firmly in place.
