Retrieve card numbers to correct cashier errors when charging

Sometimes a cashier will accidentally undercharge a customer. We need to be able to get the card number to correct the transaction. Not being able to has already cost us hundreds of dollars. Help!

From our experience, unfortunately you will only see the last 4 digits of a credit card transaction.  Even if you have the option to keep a customer's card on file, the entire number and security code will never be displayed.  This is just not a Square thing, it's across the entire industry.   (Imagine the damage that could be done if every merchant could see every customer's full credit card number when ever they wanted to.)
