Reporting

Hey all. Not sure if anyone else noticed. Apparently some new update took place for POS Register and now the reports and transactions no longer include Online or 3rd Party integration like Doordash transactions. So the sales reports and end of day reports do not include those numbers and therefore tips are underreported on that report. Of course you can go to the dashboard on your computer if you happen to have it handy which my closers do not.   Please if you find this as annoying and adding more unnecessary time please let Square know. 

 

Can someone let me know why they would not want that information to be included on the Register reports since all the transactions come through the register? I am very curious. And why did Square change something that was not broken?

Hey there @Brewd Have you looked into the filter setting on the reports section of your Register and made sure it shows All Devices instead of This Device Only?

 

I will keep an eye out for your reply.

JJ - We are having the same issue and several of us have searched all over the register and cannot find any setting or filter that will give the option to change the report to All Devices instead of This Device Only.  Can you direct me where to find the filter setting please??  The end of day sales report not showing transactions across all devices has really been a burden the last couple of weeks!! It was fin 6/26, but changed to This Device Only randomly on 6/27. We would appreciate any help or guidance you can offer!

Hey @MC_Blessing -   On the register go to the sales report.  In the middle top it will say the date and underneath it the text All Devices or This Device, vs Same Day Previous Week .  Click that date.  The calendar appears and then scroll below the calendar. There should be options for All Day and then Filter by Device. -  Andrew
