Reader won’t connect flashing 4 red lights

I have 4 red lights flashing on my square reader. It was working fine earlier today.
I’ve tried doing the hard reset of holding the button for 20 seconds and the lights stop flashing but as soon as I release the button the red lights flash again.  I’ve also turned Bluetooth on and off, airplane mode off and on, turned my phone off and on.   The reader won’t connect, reset or turn on. Help

Hello @wtfbaglady, Oh man I am sorry your reader still isn't connecting. I appreciate you attempting to troubleshoot as well! To confirm your app and device are up-to-date? Have you tried to delete and reinstall the app itself, also disconnect the reader in the app settings, and try completely reconnecting it that way?
