Problems printing automatically for Online Orders

After setting it all up - I am able to get the KOT print automatically, but only if the Square app is running actively.

 

If the Square app is running in the background, the KOT does not print, unless you switch to have this app running in the foreground.

 

This is a problem because we do use our iPad for other functions and find it overkill to have a dedicated iPad just for KOT from Square online orders.

I believe the app must be running in order for tickets to automatically print, however, I'm trying to get clarification for you. 

 

Just to confirm, the orders are placed from your online website, correct? Are you using third-party delivery at all?
