Posting cash sales, taxable, and non-taxable, for daily report print out.

Even though I use Square Terminal for charged sales, I need to be able to enter my cash sales, and  get a daily report of ALL daily sales, cash taxable and cash non-taxable. I need HELP. We can't figure out how to set the Square up to make this happen. Thanks. Bill @[email protected].

You can record cash sales on your terminal as well as cc sales. When you're on the cc screen, hit the left arrow button in the upper left of the screen on the "Tap, Insert, or Swipe" animated screen. That will show you a list of ways to pay out a tab.

When it's time to run the report, you can either run it from the terminal or the desktop Dashboard

From the terminal, tap More -> Reports -> Sales

On this screen, you'll see a summary report. To the right of the line Sales Summary: Overview tap the three dots then Show Details.

To get the report in hard copy, you can either Email or Print the report by hitting the box with the up pointing arrow at the top of the screen.

From the Dashboard, Reports -> Sales Summary. You'll see the same information as the Terminal Report.

For taxable vs. non-taxable sales, your best bet is the Dashboard. Go to Reports -> Taxes. There is a breakdown of taxable and non-taxable sales on this screen.
