Physical Gift Card - Donation

If I want to donate a loaded physical gift card to a customer, is it possible without having to withdraw my own funds to pay for the loaded card? 

So, could i load the card with credit and just donate the physical product?

I believe you can do this!

Simply set up a 100% discount and add it to the transaction after you've added the gift card - it should allow you to sell the gift card for $0.
