Payment request link - team commissions

We pay our staff commissions using the teams feature. One of our team members sent out a payment link from their account to a customer to receive prepayment of stock.. I've just looked at the transaction and it's come up as 'untracked team member'..

Does commissions on payment links not work or is this a permissions issue?

Thanks for reaching out. I'd say it's worth getting in touch with support about this one, as they will be able to take a specific look into the payment in question with a better level of insight that we're able to have via our Seller Community forum. 

On the face of it though, it sounds like the team member was not logged into their staff account when the invoice was sent. Some things to think about:

 

  • Does the staff member have a permission set that allows them to send invoices? If not, then they may have needed to not be signed in to send the invoice.
  • Did they send the invoice from an app they were signed into as themselves? Or was it via the Online Dashboard that may have been logged into you as the administrator?
  • Is it possible the Invoice was sent while not signed in in error? 
  • It might be a good idea to send a test $1 Invoice when definitely signed in as a team member who has both Invoice permissions and commission tracking turned on - this can rule out certain lines of inquiry.

Hopefully some of this helps, but if you need to you can call our support team on 1800 760 137 to look further into the Invoice. Lines are open 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri AEST.
